As everyone would be aware Lismore had a weather event that needed to be seen to be believed. The entire town was submerged to some level.
Lismore Square Shopping Centre was submerged to approx. 1.7m above the floor level in the centre, with the carpark below at 4m high completely submerged. Every store was closed and stripped out and the centre had no stores available to trade for around 2 months after the floods.
During the flood recovery Faircloth & Reynolds have completed a majority of the tenancy fitouts and continue to work closely with centre owner McConaghy for the remaining.
The first store to re-open was Big W, with the major supermarkets Coles and Woolworths following a few weeks after. The centre had a new Aaenities area with atrium with parents room completed, due to open early next month. The new area required new exhaust fans and ductwork to suit. The centre manager's office also got a tidy up complete with new HVAC fitout. The growing list of the stores Faircloth & Reynolds has completed or are completing fitouts is as follows.
